MapleStory 2 is a free-to-play best anime MMORPG developed by NSquare and published by. No official word has been given yet on whether the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will follow suit and become free to play. The New Rakion Private Server, Ultimate RakionThe server will. They’ve also announced that a great deal of work is still going into the game, with improvements being made to maps and UI, balancing being done to each of the classes, and overall load times and performances. The announcement was made last night on Turtle Rock’s official message board. All content already owned will carry over, and they are promising that all those who supported the game early on will be thanked by receiving “gifts, rewards and special access”.

Turtle Rock have addressed the issue however by giving everyone who purchased “classic” Evolve an upgrade to “Founder” status in the new version. But if you’re one of the many people who have paid for the game, it’s a bit of a kick in the face. It’s great if you’ve not already played the game – its unique take on 3-v-1 multiplayer was actually pretty fun despite some balancing issues, getting to run round as a monster whilst your human opposition tried to hunt you down was rather enjoyable. Following the usual free to play model, there’ll be paid content and DLC upgrades available, but the game will be entirely playable free. Starting today, Evolve is free to download on PC as a Beta. Developer Turtle Rock Studios have today addressed that issue with a long-speculated announcement: Evolve will be free to play.

Launching back in February 2015, Evolve received little recognition. Despite winning a wealth of awards and nominations, the public reaction to the game was rather underwhelming.
